This study explores the relationship between social media presence and its psychological effects on adolescent girls, focusing on anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. As digital engagement intensifies, especially among teens, concerns about mental health repercussions have grown significantly. Through primary data collected from adolescent girls and secondary literature, the research identifies patterns, correlates, and causative indicators linked to excessive or negative social media use. The findings offer a critical view of how virtual environments influence emotional and cognitive well-being and suggest pathways for mitigation and psychological support.
